  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

That is so typical of this site. A liberal is allowed to flame Christians, but a conservative is voted to be in violation for using the same quote to reference one group of "Christians" (and I use that term lightly of course). And she's just being honest too!

Ya there's sure no favoritism here, huh?

I'm not sure... the problem is, quite a few people have that as their signature and Support have said that it's come up again and again and it's always been deemed a nv. Also, I tend to think anyone who reports Rochir or goes to Rochir's super will be accused of having a personal vendetta...

But people like Meh and FB are completely fair, so it's not their being disingenuous so much as a cultural thing, given the way the forum has developed.

You may have to flex some Admin muscles...
