  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello all,

I need help with a problem I am having. I am making a site for a club at school, and I have my own .com domain name. I am using cpanel/fantastico/PHP-Nuke to install my site. I want it to appear on the .com name, so under the box for install location I "Leave empty to install in the root directory of the domain (access example: http://domain/).". However, when I do so, this error message occurs.

Install PHP-Nuke (2/3)

The installation can not be completed:

- You chose to install in the main directory of the domain oneunitedearth.com, but there are conflicting filenames, therefore we can not proceed. Following filenames already exist in the main directory of the domain oneunitedearth.com (path="/home/oneunite/public_html/").You must manually remove these files before proceeding with auto-installation:

Please help! How do I fix this?

firstly, can i suggest you use drupal rather than postnuke? it's easier to manage and is far more secure.

secondly, why not go to the source site (www.postnuke.com) and download the package from there, and do a manual installation?

if you need and further help, feel free to pm me!
