Elizabeth, um, I'm no expert here, but just share what Jesus means to you. If you can remember, share a little bit about how your life was before you knew Him, and what your life is like now that you know Him. You may want to write it out first just to clarify what you want to say. I'm a bit of a journal person myself, and I like to write stuff down anyway.

Anyhow, I pray that your camp is a great experience, and that your testimony is heard by whoever needs to hear it.:)

I agree. This may be too late for camp, but it may help somone else. I think that it is important to show how Christ has changed your life. I was taught that the use of Scripture is very important - if you have a verse you try to live by or has been really encouraging to you and why.
Another thing to remember is that your language has to be simple - no Christian jargon/phrases - keep it simple to the point and short! Too long and you'll lose your listeners - approx 3-5 mins max
Hope that this is helpful.

Thanks Ya'll... I did my testimony at camp yesterday and it was great. I wrote it down but I didn't even read what I wrote I just talked... and yeah i had my flub to I basically said drugs were good but their not I just said "... yeah, drugs, alcohol, and all that good stuff" Sarcastically none the less but I said it so that was my flub but it was great. BUT now I feel so exposed but i guess i wouldn't have done it if god didn't want me to. So thanks for all your help and I did use a scripture and it was 5 minutes. Hehe luv ya'll

I'm glad that your testimony went well. Don't be to upset over that line though. When you aren't a Christian, it may look like good stuff. After you become a Christian then you realize that it's not good. Well done.
