I know I have left out details, but I am innocent and My Lord said He would fight for me...that is why I never sought legal counsel.
First of all, let me share a rather time-worn story:
It was the 100 year flood, and an old man was sitting in his house in a valley well-known as a flood plain. His family had left 2 hours ago when the evacuation order was issued, while he had stayed. "I have faith in the Lord and he will save me," he replied.
When the water reached the door of his house, a neighbor in a truck pulled up to his garage where he was standing and called out "Come with us! We're heading for higher ground!" The old man said "No thanks, I have faith in the Lord and He will save me."
The water covered the first floor of the house 2 hours later. The old man was now sitting by a window on the second floor. A boat pulled up next to it, and two sheriff's deputies inside told the man "You'll die if you stay here! This place will be underwater in 3 hours!" The man declined the offer of the boat ride out with these words: "I have faith in the Lord and He will save me." The deputies left, shaking their heads. Another boat came an hour later, and it was waved off in the same manner.
The old man moved to the highest point on his roof 3 hours later, and found himself in chest-high water. A Coast Guard helicopter that had been in the distance now hovered over, and the pilot yelled out the window. "You cannot stay here any longer! Don't you realize you're drowning?" The old man replied "I have faith in the Lord and He will save me." The pilot left, realizing that there was no way to save the man.
The man of course drowned, and when he arrrived in Heaven, his first question of God was "Why didn't You save me? I had such great faith that You would bring me out of that flood, and You instead left a poor, helpless old man to drown!" The answer was "I did not leave you to drown. I sent you a car, a truck, 2 boats, a helicopter, your family, a neighbor, 4 sheriff's deputies, and an entire Coast Guard crew.
You chose to ignore all of it looking for a miracle that fit your idea of a miracle."
The point is, that God sends us help in many ways. . .and that a lawyer who can argue your case is just as much (or more) a miracle than an instant deliverance from the problem.
I will be praying for you

and I will also pray that you will seek and accept help in whatever form God chooses to offer it.
