Help!! Is Jesus God? Is the Holy Spirit God also?

All my faith and hope is in Jesus Christ. Some people say He was just a man, others say He is God. Jesus says He is one with the Father somewhere in the gospel of John.

Jesus is God, the Father is God, the Holy Spirit is God. Is this true? Is it safe to say "Jesus is God" I need help on understading this!! Thanks and God bless

Yes, Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit are all One, but also separate. I like to think of Them as I do water. Water can be solid like an ice cube, liquid like drinking water, or vapor, but it's all still water. The concept is the same with Christ, God, and the Holy Spirit. They are the same Being, just in different forms.

If one man can talk you into believing Jesus is God, another can talk you out. This is basic Christianity, find out the truth for yourself. Talk to your pastor, talk to other Christians, but make sure you are not intellectually persuaded, you need to know that you know.

I attended a few meetings of a co-worker in a cult known as "The Way". They're mostly out of the picture these days. They still deceive some, but nothing like before. In any case, like all cults, they point to organized religion and its hypocrisy. They take on the doctrine of the trinity, and like all "good" deceiving spirits, they put a stronghold of unbelief and I was no longer sure whether or not that was true anymore.

It takes the revelation of the Word of God from Heaven to really receive truth and "hear". This revelation is the rock that we stand on. The rock the church was really built on. I was meditating in the Gospel of Matthew when the verse about Jesus being the Emanuel, "God is with us" burst through as a rhema Word and I was born again. Truly flesh and blood did not reveal it. That's what you need. Revealed knowledge. If you seek, you'll find! Scripture was the vehicle that the understanding came through, so turn to the Word! The trinity is evidenced all through the Bible, though the mystery kept hidden from the ages about Jesus was only revealed in the New Covenant. I'll post scripture "bits" I located about God expressed in the trinity, which we'll never fully understand till we get to Heaven.

I have found the truth through the Word and prayer. The Holy Spirit has revealed this truth to me, that God can present Himself in more than one form, still being Him. Thanks a lot for the insight, guidance, and the scriptures.

Referring to the water example, just think of some elements. For example, water is H2O it takes Hydrogen2 and Oxygen. Yet the two make one.
