1. Who is the artist and what is the song ... All I know is that it is a woman singing, and a part of the lryics is like 'fix my sight on the here and now'. Its a rather 'new' song I believe.
2. Late last year a female released a beautiful verison of Amazing Grace, it is now commonly played on Chrstian radio. Do you know who it is?

I know of a good music search site: letssingit.com. I checked "amazing grace" and one of the people who has sung it was crystal lewis. I checked the lyric line you gave for the other one, but nothing matched.

I'll keep thinking about the first part and let you know if I come up with it. But, as far as #2, I think you may be referring to "Grace Flows Down" by Christy Nockels (Her and her husband Nathan make up Watermark).
