Hi! I am new here, but I need some help with creative ideas.
So here is the story... My boyfriend (serious but not officially engaged yet), has hit some serious hard times.
He runs his own business and the past 2 years have been hard on him. He never used to struggle with non-paying customers, then within 2 years he has lost thousands and thousands to that exactly.
We are both Christians and have been praying for help and ideas. Plus good customers!
So in Oct 2015 his work van, which is only 3 years old, broken down. We found out that it had a defect which resulted in the piston rods snapping and now the engine must be replaced. The problem? Defect or no, the mileage is just over warranty so they wont take care of it. He has been working out of a beat up old minivan and that is just the icing on the cake right now as he struggles to make the bills because of one particular customer who took up 6 months of work and paid him nothing.
So here is where I need help. I started a fast to seek God for answers in this and other areas and this morning I had an idea I know didn't come from me.
So I started a go fund me page for getting his van back.
I'm terrified because Ive never done anything like this before. I only have 50 facebook friends and I am trying to find other places to get the word out about the page to hopefully rally some support!
My dream is to be able to get the van fixed without him knowing and surprise him with it by driving up in it! I don't know if that will work, but that's my dream!!
Anyone who knows places I can share the story and or link, please please tell me?
The website says the more I can get it out the better. I know God will help me, and when asking on here came to mind I thought who better to ask!
I'm very good at keeping to myself, so I don't know how to get out there and get attention!!
