... I've just created my account here. I look forward to reading and contrubuting. Here's the little bio I wrote:
I'm new here. My background is Evangelical Church of England.
I'm a single, straight, white Englishman of Generation X who lives in North Staffordshire. I'm usually rather quiet, and a bit of a loner. For fans of Myers-Briggs: ISTJ. I worked in IT until recently.
I like: the Bible (I use the ESV the most), the Book of Common Prayer. Following news / current affairs / politics, on which I do have views; but they rarely seem to agree closely with any single political party for any length of time. I can't resist a good puzzle. I play just a few computer games.
I dislike: Facebook, Twitter and social media such-likes. Though I will sometimes force myself to use them to stay in touch with old friends.
Apart from that, I'm quite curious and a big reader, with an ability to get interested in far more things than I can possibly keep up with. Which I try to keep in check with an extremely variable level of success!
