Just popping in to introduce myself. I'm a former-Mormon from Utah. I've been a Christian for awhile now, but my family has finally settled into a church home this year (Assemblies of God).
My Mormon past caused me a lot of mistrust with organized religion, and a lot of times I struggle to just have faith in God's word and focus on my relationship with Him, so I am ever grateful for grace and that I do not have to have it all figured out. My favorite verse is Romans 5:8 "but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
