I'm new to the singles thread. I've been gone a long time, and jumped from the teens to the singles....

I'm 21 years old, reservedly open. Studying to be an elementary teacher because I love kids and helping them learn and be creative.

Been hurt a lot and am still reeling from the most recent, so am definitely not looking for another relationship. However, I am lonely and looking for friendship.

Not sure what the face the board thing is all about, but saw a couple threads like this one, so thought I would make one too. Ask whatever you want.

I already am im working as a cna but my trite heart lies in the mission field where I hope to soon be.

I'd kind of like to do short term missions to the middle East, but not unless I get married. It would be like a partnership thing with my husband.

Hey AngelGirl - pretty new around here. Looks like you post quite a bit. I have been in some relationships that kept me from dating for a while, too. I actually enjoy my single times. I'm enjoying it now more than ever. I'm a financial advisor, so I actually get to see a lot of people during the day of all walks off life - young to barely alive. I think that since graduating college and getting away from some cliques, life has certainly been better.

that's cool i'm still doing food service. i'm starting orientation for my new job in the morning, and moving next weekend. one more year left of college.... then hopefully teaching! it's not so bad for cliques where i go to school. everyone seems to mix pretty well.

What is your most memorable vacation?

I went to Norway to meet my family. Cousins. It was so much fun! We stayed for 2 1/2 weeks, and saw some of the landmarks. There was an amazing chocolate shop there!

Norway would be awesome! I bet that chocolate was pretty good as well.

My most memorable vacation would probably be when I went on a road trip with a bunch of my buddies to the florida keys. It wasn't the best trip, but it was nice and a lot of stuff happened that made it memorable. Good and bad.
