It’s nice to meet everyone. I guess technically I am not Christian yet, because I am still taking RCIA/OCIA classes and have not yet been baptized. Hopefully by Easter Vigil I can live up to the faith named in my profile! It’s nice to see that there’s a dedicated forum for discussing Christianity. I hope I can have lots of interesting conversations and learn even more about the faith here. Thanks for having me

A little about myself:

1. I am a “millennial”
2. I enjoy knitting
3. Before starting the process of conversion, I was raised fairly laxly in the Chinese folk religion/Buddhism combo
4. My husband was a religious studies major in college and his studies led me to try to understand Christianity firsthand
5. Broccoli is my favorite vegetable, hence my username

Those threads were very interesting. I think that the parallels between Christianity and other non-Christian religions can be used for outreach and common understanding. A lot of the same basic morality in this world is shared between everyone but humans love to reinvent the wheel…
