My name is Joe. I am a life long Texan and I am 71 years old.
I have been a Christian believer for almost 40 years. I began more in-depth
studies of the bible about 12 years ago but to tell the truth my wanting to
fully apply myself to living by what I knew to be right according to
God`s Word and learning to love our Creator with all my heart is
not as old as my entry in to the Christian Faith. Father has been so very
good to me, in any wise, and the wonderful things he has shown me are
not to be kept under the old bushel. I hope to contribute to this gathering
of God`s children and receive the same blessing from all who seek God and
His Wisdom. I firmly believe that we each as individual children of God must
prove what we believe for ourselves from the Word that our Father has preserved
for us. It is a most wonderful thing that our God has given us His Spirit to lead us
in the truth. I can say with all sincerity that I have believed things that I thought
were true only to find out later that I had been off base. I also believe that a large
part of our Christian brothers and sisters let themselves believe every thing they
are taught with out checking it out in Father`s Word which is a dangerous position
to be in. I am thankful though that our great God`s Plan will allow have each one of us
to thoroughly and fully understand the truth before we are judged. That is the fairness
of our Creator on which I rely. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of this work.
