Hello - new

Hi!
My name is Rachel. I have two children (g 8yo, b 6yo) and have just had a positive at-home pregnancy test!

It's been 6 years since I've done this . . . what's new out there I'll want to know about?

Also, hubby and I have believed for the last 6 years that God was done creating babies for us . . . any ideas on how to tell the family?

Also, we'll tell the kids when we have dr. confirmation . . . any ideas on how to break the news to them?

Congrats to you...well, just tell them you are having 3rd baby...I believed they should be happy!

We told the kids, and they're ecstatic! When we went to the Dr., they even did an ultrasound (instead of listening to the heartbeat with the doppler) and we all got to "see" baby!

Congrats!!! I'm preggers with number two, but the LO's will only be 15 months apart, so I have no idea what has changed in the past few years as far as pregnancy wisdom goes. Enjoy the next 9 months!

My last 2 are 6 yrs apart... It's very odd "starting over". I was amazed at how much I forgot! lol My youngest is now 7.5 months old, and I'm still running into things that I don't remember...

Things that have changed.... the number of infant shots has gone up, for one. The cost of everything has gone up. On the good side though, there are more organic options for babies now.

Congratulations Rachel! What a blessing. I'm expecting my third baby now with my two being 4 and 5 so by the time baby is born they'll be 4 and 6 It's going to be interesting. The boys are very excited and hoping for a baby sister....they don't want a brother at all! Lots of things have changed in they years since I had my boys.....

Two things I'm looking into with the new baby that I never heard about (or at least didn't know much about) with the first two are Cloth Diapers (what a money saver and I found a great pattern online that I can sew myself) and a baby wrap (it replaces the imo very inconvenient snuggli of old)
