It really is good to have experiences like that. I have had the chance to meet people from other cultures (especially from Asia) and it is a blessing.

My pen-pal came over to the UK from Chicago a couple of years ago and even though it was just for a few hours it was good to meet up. I've also met up with a few of the people I've met on forums and keep in touch with others with cards at Christmas. Where in the US are you from?
