  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm a Fundamentalist Christian believing in the authority of the God, the sanctification of us through the blood of Jesus whose blood cleanses us and the literal truth of the Bible as the word and will of God. And that is the center of my life.

I'm disabled and never worked much, not due to lack of desire but of the means to work having several disabilities and even if my body and cognitive issues are there hindering me it never affected my spiritual faith or working in the faith community. As I see it my flesh might be failing me at times and its a burden but by my example and being part of the Christian faith I am hopefully someone to look up to.

I'm single not due to lack of interest but at 52 and not being able to provide for a family properly never felt called to do that.
