Hi clintos,

Welcome! We all face different challenges in this life. However, God is the answer to them all. You were created to love God with all that you are and to love others as yourself. You can do that in whatever circumstance you are in, if that is your desire. Whether you are autistic, have cancer, are diseased with aids or any number of other earthly maladies, the choice for the direction of your life is the same. To trust and follow after the Lord, or not.

I do believe that if one's faith is real, that God will answer their prayer. That answer will either be relief from whatever they are seeking relief from or acceptance and understanding of why they are as they are. Consider that one of the blessings of your autism, if you choose to follow after God, will be that you will be a witness to others with the same malady. You can be a beacon to others who suffer with autism and have lost hope or are distressed about their situation that God is the answer for them also -- if they are willing to choose God. You can also be a similar witness to even seemingly healthy people who might look at you and say, "Gosh, this man suffers so much, and yet, his faith is in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Joseph"

God bless you,
In Christ, ted

I have a question:

In the Bible it says in Romans 12:2, that the mind can be transformed. Does anyone not accept their autism like me and want to be changed?

Or is it best to accept autism, and embrace it, because it is who we are?
We are to have the Mind of Christ and think the Divine thoughts of God. We are to be Heavenly Minded. In all things we are to bring honor and glory to God. He will cause all things to work out for the best for us. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He is able to go back into our past and bring about healing. Healing may be progressive over time and not instant. Everyone needs healed and God is going to heal all of us. All of Creation is going to be redeemed and restored. That is what His plan is all about. Only the process maybe gradual as we learn and grow in Him.

Hi Clintos, and a big HELLO from your neighbor to the South.

Here is the full verse from the NLT. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

The pattern of the World is what Christians call worldliness. Paul is telling us we can be transformed from being worldly to a renewed mind in Christ. The carnal, worldly, mind is not prone to dwell on Godly things.

We may never be cured of our illnesses while we are alive on this sin filled Earth, but if we are faithful Christians we will be perfect for eternity.

Remain faithful and keep lookin up.

You can not create something from nothing. Matter and energy is not created from nothing. This is what I believe, and can no longer deny Christ, I give up and plan to follow God and give him a chance, Thanks for the reply's.

My biggest question I have is about war, and when and if we are aloud to defend ourselves? If I can get a solid answer on this I think all my questions have been answered.

The last response I got was to ask God for the answer.

I have schizo-affective disorder, Aspergers, ADHD, Agoraphobia, depression, anxiety, social anxiety and this is something I would love to be healed from because it affects my life and makes it hard for me to read the word of God and understand verses along with attend church.

Please pray for me and understand that I lived like this for 38 years and would do just about anything to be content in my heart and with my life.

Welcome. I'm a female with clinically diagnosed Asperger Syndrome. Interesting you reference Romans 12 as that is one of my two favorite Biblical chapters. Even for neurotypicals, it outlines an approach to life that is hard for any of us to aspire to, and that is why I love it -- the challenge of working it out, even in the everyday world.
