Greetings to everyone,
My name is Eric and I hail from Canada. I can't remember when I became a christian, it really has been a given all my life, but I have become very passionate about my faith in the past year. I entered senior youth this past Sept, (grade 9) and had the chance to head down to Pitt for YouthQuest this year, which was the greatest and most powerful thing I've done recently.
Anyways, I am trying to keep up in my devotion book, as well as use it's guide to read the bible this year, and next year focus on the parts I want to review. I wanted to join some community where I could have my questions answered about that topic, so I need to find the appropriate forum.
I also feel I have been given the chance to share my faith with my closest friend as well as with my father this fall/winter, so I wanted to find a place where I could put forward their questions so I can have them answered.
About me: I started to attend the church I'm at now when I was really young, but stopped for a few years a while back due to a parental choice. I haven't been baptized, but I am waiting for the program to do that (the course or whatever comes before it). I am one of a few youth who run the powerpoint, but I also have been trained on the soundboard to run worship team practices, and play drums on my youth's worship team. I am praying that things fall into place as has been spoken about, so that I can join the adult worship team in the comming months.
Anyways, I hope I have found a place where I can be supported and have questions answered.
