You are correct. Sad that so many have been drinking Satan's ecumenical water of death in these latter days. Sound doctrine is being vacated like never before...

1 Timothy 4:1

It really isn't that complicated...

These are truly the last days when sound doctrine is being vacated for the ecumenical spirit of this world. When the truth is set aside in order to subvert the real penalty for rejecting God’s Son . True love does not water down or hide these consequences, but TRUE LOVE proclaims WHY Christ died for our sins!

Sin is the problem... hell is real... God so loved... Jesus paid the price!

The penalty of sin was placed on the Son of God. The Holy Lamb of God was the only one qualified to take away our sins. Jesus Christ (God in the flesh) SUFFERED a BRUTAL DEATH on a LONELY HILL, shedding his own blood for our sins; He was buried and He rose again on the third day. And because He paid the FULL price for our sins, salvation is a free gift by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ!

So what exactly are the consequences for choosing the ‘penalty of sin’ over God’s Son who suffered the cross? Here are just a few examples, and they are not a "peaceful place of slumber" as some have reported!

Isaiah 66:22-24
“And they shall go forth and look
Upon the corpses of the men
Who have transgressed against Me.
For their worm does not die,
And their fire is not quenched.
They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.”

Daniel 12:1-2
Every one who is found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Matthew 18:6-9
“If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire.

Matthew 25:41-46

How does one avoid such a terrible outcome for their sin? BY ACCEPTING the FREE GIFT of ETERNAL LIFE that is only offered by FAITH in the ONE WHO PAID THE FULL PRICE FOR OUR SINS! The Lamb who was slain is the ONLY answer for the penalty of sin! “He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” -1 John 5:12

No problem. Though I don't agree with all of what Ray Comforts says... when I first came to Christ I used one of His books that was very helpful to me. "The 10 Cannons of God's Law". Back in 1993-94 my friend and I were witnessing to the young people out on the streets on Friday and Saturday night and this book was very helpful. It teaches how to use the 10 commandments to show them how they are sinners who needed a savior. Which also verifies the verse in Galatians that says the law is our Schoolmaster to bring us to Christ.

Great verse! Those who preach a false hell almost always preach UR (universal reconciliation), they seem to go hand in hand. but that verse pretty much contradicts all their versions of UR. Another one they have no answer for...

John 8:24
