There's something that's been on my mind tonight that I haven't been able to get an answer to. I don't remember ever asking this before of anybody or to myself. Perhaps it's because I really don't see the question as being all that important. I've prayed that reading the word the Holy Spirit would reveal to me an answer but I'm not recieveing anything.
Hell is described in many places in the bible as a place of fire, fire and brimstone, the lake of fire. Fire gives off light does it not? Yet in other places in the bible hell is described as a place of darkness. My question is how can you have both? I mean either your in utter darkness in the pits of hell or your in the light of the flames of hell, I can't see how you can have both.
All I can come up with is that in hell people wont have sight. I suppose this is as good as any answer but I just don't feel comfortable with it.
