  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hell doesn't exist and there is no eternal suffering, instead bad peolle just cease to exist

The question is no more important than if the Antichrist exist. Since there have been many antichrists and the finial one might be alive today, I'm not sure how significant it is. Christ will still be victorious.

As a type for civil authorities, yes. Many Caesar's around the globe yet today

Just as Pharaoh was a representative type for Satan in the O.T. against Israel, Caesar plays that same role in the gentile nations

Ezekiel 29:3
Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.

Was pharaoh a great dragon who resided in rivers in the literal sense? Uh, no. This is typology or allegory depicting in the physical, the ways of Satan in mankind, particular at the "head."

In the Spirit, Israel itself is "Sodom and Egypt." Rev. 11:8

Not everything is as it appears on the surface in scripture. In fact nothing is as it appears on the surface
