Hmmm...let's see. Metallica is speed metal, mostly. So you're definitely not looking for the basic alternative Christian stuff that you find mentioned a lot on here.

I don't really know of any that match Metallica's style without getting into something even heavier than Metallica, like Tourniquet or Mortification (both Christian bands, but much heavier than Metallica). Maybe some White Cross, Petra, Mastedon or Stryper (all of those are from the early 90s or 80s, so they're going to sound a little dated, and may not equally match speed metal like Metallica or Megadeth, but they'll be a good start).

Well, if you consider Industrial to be heavier than Metallica (in a way, it is, but in other repects it isn't), then I can definitely suggest some. For the record, Industrial is the style that bands like Skinny Puppy, Stabbing Westward, Rammstein, Nine Inch Nails, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, etc. play (the actual sound of the music, not the lyrics).

There are four notable Christian Industrial bands that are fairly easy to find. Most of the others are very obscure, mainly because Industrial isn't one of the most popular styles of rock music (although definitely one of the best, IMO).

Mortal - This is the band that's credited in introducing Contemporary Christian Music to Industrial. They sound a great deal like a cross between Skinny Puppy and early Nine Inch Nails (i.e. "Head Like A Hole"). Their older albums can sometimes be found on Amazon, and their debut Lusis was their breakthrough (if I can recall, they did hit number one on the Christian Metal charts in 1991 with a song off of Lusis). Fathom and Wake, the last two albums before they broke up in 1995, are also supposed to be really good. Their newest album (they reformed in 2002), Nu-En-Jin, is still available from most music distributors.

Circle Of Dust - Circle Of Dust is mostly credited for bringing Industrial Metal into Christian music. They sound a lot like Stabbing Westward's second album (Wither, Blister, Burn, and Peel, which had the hit song "What Do I Have To Do?"), but with heavy Goth Rock influence as well. They appeared on a Steve Taylor tribute album (performing the song "Am I In Sync?"). The band broke up in the late 90s, launching two side projects, Klank and Celldweller. You can find them on some retail websites like Amazon.com.

Klank - Klank plays very heavy Industrial Metal, and emphasizes the Metal part more. They do have a few dancy tracks that could get played in clubs, but most of it is grinding guitars and heavy distortion and feedback, along with gutteral vocals. They do a cover of Van Halen's "I'll Wait" on a VH tribute album. Both of their albums are available on iTunes, as is the cover of "I'll Wait".

Celldweller - Celldweller is really just one person, Klay Scott, and still plays Industrial Metal, but emphasizes the synthesizers and dance beats over the guitars. One of their songs, "Switchback", is heard briefly in one of the Spiderman 2 trailers, just as Spidey is swinging between the gap in the semi truck. The album is available through most music distributors.

im impressed , i like some metal but metal music is not good at all, and i don't think there is not christian heavy metal

ever type much?

if what you are trying to say is,
"there is no such thing as Christian heavy metal"

then i dissagree.

Heavy metal music is just another variation of beat and tune, and saying that heavy metal cannot bring glory to God would be the same as saying that no music except church hymnals bring glory to God...

EXCEPT, if you look into history, most church hymnals were written from European DRINKING SONGS AND BALLADS, all of which were formed in bars. They did this so that the people would know the beat and learn the songs in the newly reformed churches that were poping up all over the place.

huh
so much for specific styles of music being neccesary to worship God.
