An old friend and I used to have this thing where we would send each other the little 'Love is' cartoons. They were lovely little things and quite often hit the nail on the head.
Thinking on these I wondered what other subjects would work. I then thought about Heaven. Heaven is.............What?
Heaven is..............A peaceful mind. I have a mental health problem that makes me paranoid about most things especially people. A peaceful mind would be heaven for me.
Heaven is.............A warm sunny day. I also have a b12 problem which means I find it very hard to motivate myself to do anything. I visited Modesto, California in September a few years back and I felt alive, as though I had been given an injection of pure energy. It was the weather, so living somewhere the sun shines would be heaven for me.
Heaven is...........True Friends. Because of the mental health problem I have, true friends are hard to come by. Most men see me as an easy person to bully because I cant deal with conflict. I would just rather let them win. Women misunderstand my willingness to listen and understand them as desiring an intimate relationship with them, not understanding that I love to listen to everyone and that to me, everyone is worthy of my love and respect. Listening is just something I enjoy doing, so a true friend is heaven to me.
Give me a true friend, a peaceful mind and a warm sunny day and I will be in heaven. If that day included a pic-nic in the park with soft music playing on the radio, I wouldn't complain.
What is Heaven to you?
