There is a chapter found in Isaiah 35 that is prophetic for us today. Receive it if you will....
Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
Isaiah 35: 3-10
That is what is headed our way, dear brothers and sisters. No more "theoretical" blessings. No more faked joy when inside we are wondering if any others feel as empty as we do.No more wondering why it is easier to watch 2.8 hours of TV at night than to pray for souls or read the word of God that alone has life. No more Sunday services that cannot even get us through one night before the glow has worn off and the world, the unrelenting world, begins to pull us back under its spell.
We are about to discover what the church triumphant looks like. We are about to understand the meaning of oneness and understand that to be one with others, we are first asked to experience oneness with Him. And better yet, we are about to discover HOW.
May all who are tired, worn out by trying to "be good" and knowing they are not, may they see even a glimpse of the work God is preparing to pour out upon us all, as undeserving as we are.
IN Ezekiel 36, He tells us that what He is about to do, we do not deserve. And what is He about to do? He is about to "cause us" to walk as obedient children through our putting off of our old natures, casting them to the ground as filthy rags, and putting on robes of righteousness that make up the new man. He is about to awaken us from our slumber of lukewarmness and show us how to light our lamps. He is about to show us His arms with His sleeves rolled up.
He will not do it for our sake, regardless of His great love for us. He will do it for His own Holy names sake, a name that (we are not going to like what He says here, but it is true) we have blasphemed whereever we have gone. And how have we done this despicable act? By telling the world "Look at us! This is what our God can accomplish in a man or woman's life!" May tears replace our pride-filled and stubborn hearts. God loves us so much, even in our religious delusionand sin saturated, flesh filled lives. He loves us too much to let us stay there any more. We are about to witness the power of God unleashed within us. We are about to experience CHURCH.
He goes on to say that the heathen will know that He is the Lord, when He shall be sanctified IN US before their eyes. We are about to see multitudes swept into the kingdom and at the same time see the wrath of our enemy in the eyes of multitudes more. All who live godly in Christ Jesus WILL suffer presecution. We will see hot or cold, no more lukewarm.
It is this of which I have shared. We are about to learn what "putting on the Lord Jesus Christ" really means,
All I can say is thank you Lord for your great mercy and love for us.
Blessings, guys
