Some of you folks here may be feeling pretty discouraged or disheartend because the hopes and great expectations that may be God has given you in the past has now worn down by lifes trials and tests.
The dreams and great plans and hopes that God implanted in your heart by faith as you read His word seem to have faded away. May be you are left with a HURTING and EMPTY incomplete feeling.
The Lord you love so much seems to be passing you by.
I have been there and come out, so I can encourage you.
Listen here Nehemiah says "God began a good work..and the walls were completed" You see you and I may at times loose the thrill and joy of Gods greater plan for our lives, the clouds and cold of a spiritual winter ALWAYS give way to the JOYS of SUMMER.
What God has BEGUN He will COMPLETE. If He has made any promises to you there is nothing in heaven or earth that will prevent it from being fulfilled in its TIME. Though it may long delay and you feel so hurt, it will happen.
May be a reviving in your church, seems to be so far from happening?
May be a loved one still away from God?
Trust in the Lord He is FAITHFUL and TRUE, you may sow now in tears, but you will reap with JOY. You may sorrow now, but Joy comes in the morning.
Reach out and cling like Jacob of old and say with tears in your eyes "Lord my God, my love my all, I will not let you go until you bless me"
He will, as He has me.
Only one thing more "Love Him dearly and give Him your affection as if it were a beloved spouse, and submit with humility when the deepest hurt comes accross your soul" You will be blest, His word will be completed in you.
