CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It doesn't make you weird for not having seen it yet, but if you get a chance, I'd recommend it. It's very good.

hey yueyouko! the passion is the greatest movie ever made. us extream dudes don't cry over to many movies but i burst into tears over this one. when it comes out on dvd i am going to buy it. and sunshine, your missing out. mother theresa would have gone to see it if she still lived but i know she watched it in heaven. go see it. you wont regret it. god loves us and he died for us. and no its not illegal to talk about the passion movie yueyouko. its not offensive to talk about god.

Yeah definately get to see this film or when it comes out buy or rent it. It is really brilliant the whole film touched my heart and although Mel Gibson uses some 'artistic licence' to add in bits and pieces it still works very well. The scourging of Jesus is very brutal and i believe that the film, well in my case anyway, strengthened my faith in many ways. The whole thing about God coming to earth as a human and having to complete a mission to get rid of mans sin, it is explained fully in the bible but seeing it like this touches your heart so much more.
