• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Have you ever.....

...just had one of those days? My mind seems to have taken a vacation without the rest of my body! :D I keep losing things today. I set them down somewhere, and then forget where I set them down. So far today I have misplaced a pencil, a ruler and a mug of coffee!

Yesterday was one of those days for me. Lol...I was working with a new group of people during church services yesterday, so I asked them all their names. Then, someone said, "What's yours?" Of course, I was silent and looking around the room until I noticed that everyone was staring at me. I just burst out, "Oh, ME?!" Lol...we all laughed. That is one of many "blonde moments" as one girl put it for me yesterday. I hope you find your poor, lost items! :D

Oh, all the time! I also have what I call non-verbal days, when I can't seem to come up with words or names. I have to resort to "thingy" and "you know - the woman who's in charge of the big deal in the spring where we sell stuff." I know there's a medical term for this, but it escapes me at the moment ...

Hmmmm...a vacation place of my choice......someplace warm and tropical comes to mind....:sigh:

I have no excuse, not blonde, hopefully not a senior...yet! :D Just forgetful, apparently! Today is turning into a "dropsy" day. From walking to my house and getting into my car, I must have dropped my car keys like 2 or 3 times. Then going into work, I dropped my office keys! I hope I don't find that mug of coffee anytime soon....it may not be safe!

Yes, quite often, seems to happen more as I get older. In fact I have learned to consciously put things in a certain place. As in "everything has it's place!". Because if it doesn't end up in it's place and gets randomly set down somewhere it may be a while before it is found again.

Yes, but I've found that is a two-edged sword - if you have a senior moment and put the keys in your jacket pocket instead of the pants pocket, then panic ensues!

I got some good advice. Put the car keys in your pockets. I always do because that way you won't forget if you lost them in your purse and if you put them in your purse, you won't be searching for you keys for a long, long time. That always helps with me!
