  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I entered this youtube video for the Huddle House High Rise Challenge and was co-winner! I won a hat and a $200 gift certificate...also, our local paper did a nice write up on me.

You can see the video here: Irvin L. Rozier, Author, the Master Poet - YouTube

How about any of you? Ever won anything?

I won a pair of hanes socks

I won some carpet stain remover.

I have never won a contest that involved money though or gift cards. I would really LIKE to though :D

Currently I am hoping to win the Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes :D

Hey, that's great! Maybe, just maybe, we'll see you on TV as they award you the PCH grand prize!

I wrote this little poem about sweepstakes and prizes:

Philippians 3 verse 14 "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus".

We all would like to win a prize I suppose
I was blessed to be one of those
Whose number was declared a winner
When I won a free birthday dinner

I have never won a gigantic sweepstakes
But I once won of them good old church cakes
Cars, trucks, and televisions I have not won
Them prizes go to someone named Sue or Don

I once won $27 at a high school basketball game
I felt so proud when they called out my name
I am a winner of a prize I thought to myself
As I bought some Keebler cookies, the one with an elf

My entries to Publisher's Clearing House have been in vain
For 30 years nary a penny, nickel or a dollar did I gain
Over the years Reader's Digest sent me hundreds of offers
I could enter their sweepstakes, order and fill their coffers

I have sent in entries to win a Super Bowl trip
I found one entry on a can of jalepeno cheese dip
I knew that I could kick a 30 yard field goal with ease
And win that million dollars pretty as you please

My entries went to that vast supply with no chance
Well they missed out on that little jig I planned to dance
I almost gave up but decided to enter one more time
I spent 39 cents on a stamp, they used to be a dime

I may never win a grand prize, or fortune or fame
But I won the greatest prize of all when I called on His name
Jesus has said that there are riches waiting for me
More than my ears can hear of or that my eyes can see

So I will continue to run this spiritual race
I may be slow but I know that He sets the pace
And when the race is run and my final breath is drawn
I will receive the grandest prize that has ever been known

In elementary school, I won a day visiting the fire departments ... my best friend also won (there were only 4 of us citywide). I got my picture in the paper in the bucket of one of the firetrucks.

At a Boy Scout training, I won a Boy Scout Monopoly game (something like $40 bucks).

My daughter won a watch autographed by the Jonas Brothers through some teen magazine mail in.

CONGRATS on your win! I've won many things in my lifetime but, not anything worth bragging about unless you include the new Corvette I won back in 74' in a dealership raffle? I took the money instead of the Corvette. I was never big on plastic automobiles!

Again, CONGRATS!!!
