CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

In the gentle nudge I was given, when becoming frustrated with my children.
Yesterday: Husband (who is not saved yet) told our 5 yr. old son that God was the reason for something. I can't remember what they were talking about now, but his previous attitude was usually, 'there is some other explanation.' Know what I mean?

In a friendly person helping out a homeless man in the city this morning. In seeing my 22 month old sister laugh and ask me to play with her and read a book. In the gorgeous clouds outside! in my mind, to calm me down while doing a biology exam. i could go on and on and on

In my dogs trusting eyes as she waits for me while I goto school, in a friend's wave,
etc...
I think that it is so good to stop and see where God is in your life- especially on those days when he seems so far away.

In the crisp fall air and sweet smelling breezes that are all too uncommon in my area this time of year. I just had to thank the Lord for it when I walked outside today.
