JOH 7:16-17 says: "Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself."
Jesus spoke the word the Father spoke to Him. Can you imagine any mortal man who would dare to add to the Word of God or twist its meaning? I am telling you the doctrine of God the Father spoken by His Son. I am not adding to it or altering it. We must interpret the meaning of these truths so we are not carried away by the doctrines of men or our own foolish notions of what we think the Bible should have said.
The great distinction between the disciples of Christ and the world is not in those who know what the Word says in a literal sense, but in those who either receive or reject Christ and His teaching.
The world will hate those who will not reject the words of Christ and choose someone elses philosophy.
John 17:8 says, For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.
