This is exploring the what if. Yes we know that he won't disapear but from what I under stand this album explores what if people don't spread the gospel to others and stay corrupt(there are corrupt people in any denom. or religion). Even in America the number of people who claim to be but arn't Christians is rising, morality is slipping away from society and if Christians don't present themselves as true Christians and don't spread the gospel then in a sense God will disappear to all but a few.Sword-In-Hand said:I don't know if anyone is very familiar with the band Zao or not. I checked their website and they said what if God was so distraught by the people of the world for their actions that He just disappeared? Is that overstretching the bounds? Because we know through the Bible God isn't going to disappear.
Now that is interesting. I think the band is delving into very deep things. Because if their point is that Christian's aren't witnessing like we should be then in a sense God will disappear to the lost anyway. What you were saying about people claiming to be Christians who actually aren't is insanely scary. Our pastor read some statistics and one said that if you took the Holy Spirit out of the churches today over 80% would still run the same as they are now. And there are so many people who claim to be Christians who don't believe in either the Holy Spirit, or that Jesus rose from the grave.
