  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Has anyone got their grades yet?

Straight B's, in Religions of the World, Math for Liberal Arts, and Western Civilization II. Got an S in a pass/fail class too. Gotta work harder....I have so much catching up to do..

Those grades are good. how did you like your religions of the world class? I thought my class was interesting. the class was hard though because he didn't assign homework and our grade is based on the tests. our final was worth 50% of our grade :swoon:

It was very interesting. I think..I may major in Religious studies, because it interests me, a classmate told me I should actually. They're my best grades yet, and I'm happy. But I know I still have so much improving and catching up to do, I'm a year behind..

A in English 103
A in Computer Science 210
A in Math 119 (This is discrete mathematics, dealing with base number theory and dabbling in some cryptography)
B in Philosophy 103 (Which I am mad about, because the teacher choose to not use extra credit work I did, which would have pushed be right across the line to an A.
B in Japanese 101, which I am glad for, being as I was scared for a while I may have been doing worse. Happily, it all feel together in the end. As such, I plan on taking 102 next semester and aim for an A.

In honesty's defense two of those are actually A-, but I don't remember which ones. The sad thing is that my GPA dropped a tenth of a point this semester.
