Has anyone here ever read The Mystery of the Marmalade Cat and The Secret of Castle Balou by Janet Rogers Howe?

I'm getting them from the library, and I was wondering if anyone has read them before, and could tell me if they were interesting books.

Also, what category of books do all of you like?
My favorites would be Mystery and Historical Fiction.

i've never read those books, but they sound really interesting. i'll have to look them up. fantasy is my favorite genre, but i love pretty much every kind of book except sci-fi, though i even like some of those... reading is my passion in life. i like mystery books too! have you read the Agatha Christie books like And Then There Were None? or the Sherlock Holmes books? talk to you later,
