  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Harris is bringing the joy back!

there is almost nothing but negative vitriolic rhetoric about Trump from the mainstream media sources such as the NYT, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, etc.
As mentioned above, the NYT was no fan of Biden, and gave Trump better coverage over the summer without question. CNN, NBC/MSNBC are left-leaning for sure, but AP, ABC & CBS are pretty much middle of the aisle. If Trump is getting negative press with them, he's also getting it from WSJ (right) and The Hill (center). George Will, the conservative columnist doesn't like Biden or Trump. So there may not be a lot of positive aspects of Trump's candidacy to cover.

What is the agenda for Harris/Walz? Have they finally published one on their campaign website?
Well it aint good . If folks knew the real agenda behind these who act as though they do all
for the sake of humanity , They had run a long time ago and never looked back .
But as it is people can easily be influenced by smiles and words my friend .

And does this even suprise you a bit . sie order will do as they do and influence as they influence .
And he or she who speaks against it makes themselves a prey to some serious teeth .
Its all gonna back fire too . Have you ever heard the term useful idiots . Its one i wont use
but i said it for a reason . THEY TURN ON THEM TOO . This nation , this world is on a path
that will lead to the IRON YOKE . Though these elites preached it as the hope for humanity and sold it as love and good for humanity .
History repeats . THIS Time on a world wide scale . It wont bode well at all .

The vision . Oh the vision .
IF folks only knew what THEY envision for this world .
And even the decieved who follow and support the progressive liberal order
and beleive it to the the cure and solution and answer to all the worlds ills
WOULD BE FLAT OUT ILL , if they really KNEW what is about to occur .
OH it wont bode well for many on that day and in that hour . But it will be far too late to do a thing about it .
Even those they used , will they turn on when once the power is been given unto them .
Its called elimination . I know it sounds odd that the progressive elites
would turn on the common sheep who supported them .
WELL , if we knew much at all about real history and not the junk the progessive tries to sell as history
THEN WE HAD KNOWN this has been done before .
OH , but it has . and once those who had promised the peoples who supported them
this great and wondeful utopia . Soon as it began to really be enforced , EVEN THEY
found themselves under the ol grind of the very ax they had supported . ONLY THEN , IT WAS TOO LATE
just like it will soon be too late . Because something else i have learned from history .
ALWAYS the few warned , and always the majority DID NOT TAKE THE WARNING SERIOUS . WELL until it was too late .
The IRON YOKE COMETH . and there is a reason it was allowed to come .
TURN the back on GOD and see what good comes of that . NO GOOD .

The vision of the elites who run this show is in stark contrast to humanity .
IF only the sheep knew .
The solution they preach and will offer up will destroy this world .
But always they offer up a promise of a better nation or a better safer world .
I have a solution . The one i offer up actually would have worked too .
If one wants a nation to really prosper , i suggest we get a bible in every hand
and get the focus back ON GOD AGAIN and HIS CHRIST .
cause if we stay the course we are on , this nation , heck this world is soon to fall .

There are plenty of women who would be a better leader and president than her.
Sure. Just as there are plenty of men who would be a better leader and president than Donald Trump. But that's who we got this time around.

I'd absolutely love to see Katie Porter run, myself. I think she'd be one of the best presidents this country has ever seen. But, alas, she's not in the running this year. Maybe after Kamala Harris has broken the illusion that a woman can't be president, she will. Time will tell.

Her nomination as Democratic candidate for presidency has absolutely given the contest a shot of adrenaline.

Biden has finally realized that his age ruled out the benefits of being the incumbent. Now we are in the situation where Trump and his age are firmly in the spotlight.

You’re right. I don’t think either one would be a great president.

I have nothing against Harris, because she seems warm and sincere, I just don’t agree with her policies is all.

Trumps too old. I don’t know why anyone in their upper 70s or 80s would want to be President, probably the most stressful job ever.

That’s just my opinion.

And that's fine. Nothing wrong with that, at all.

On the other hand, when people object based on the way she laughs, or some made up controversy about her race, or stuff like that, I just figure they're not going to vote for her anyway, so I ignore them and their "objections."

For my part, I'm dead set against Trump, so it almost doesn't matter who is opposing him. I happen to like Harris, and agree with more of her policies than you do, but that's me. Reasonable people can disagree, and still be reasonable about it.

So, you're noticing... advertising?

Interesting. So the video in the OP shows primarily, and ostensibly objective, media personalities. Are you suggesting that the mainstream media is doing "advertising" for Harris?

I mean, sure, if Harris wants to make up some campaign slogan about how she's bringing the joy back, that's certainly her prerogative. But that's very different than every media personality suddenly and uniformly proclaiming in lockstep the "joy" they feel with Harris.

The "news" media dances to the DNC's tune. Right now, the current hit is "joy".

And before that, it was “weird”.
Yep. I cannot picture Cronkite, Brinkley, Howard K Smith, John Chancellor,or even Barbara Walters and Peter Jennings, subtly mentioning "joy" in their reports from the convention floor.

A "weird" time we live in.
