Harlot Ad

One of the advertisements on this site bothers me. It features a woman bent over an old car.
Not sure how to make that particular ad go away.

Why not make cleaner ads? Does this bother any of you?

I'm being dead serious... I might leave the site over it.

Yes, it bothers me. Not exactly a harlot, but it's certainly using sex inappropriately.

I assume the ads come from their ISP. I doubt they have control over them.

You can report the ad to a mod and see if they might remove it. They used to remove inappropriate ones as they came up. Not sure if that's still the case.

Honestly, when CF went to plastering the nasty intrusive picture ads everywhere, that's what forced me to finally switch to Firefox (with the ad blocker add-on). That was years ago and it's all I use now. Glad I did.

I'm not an old geezer, but that's all I see too. Certainly no reason to think she's a harlot. (But I do like the idea of running under a browser with ad blockers

The harlot comment was hyperbole, but I was in fear that it would cause me to stumble.

It might be vintage, but it certainly has a sex appeal.
