I'm really worried about the way things are going in the Church. I live in a mostly liberal diocese, I'm planning on and still going to move to a more reverent Parish (Though recent things I that happened there make me nervous) and there does seem to be slight signs of improvement in this diocese but I'm still worried, especially considering what's happening in the Church as a whole. I'm setting up a back-up plan of moving to St. Anthony's FSSP Parish in Calgary Alberta if things take a turn for the worse. I need a lot prayers: Prayers that things will improve in my local Diocese, prayers that I can have the courage to speak the Truth in Love both with my Diocese and with family and neighbours, prayers that I can get an apartment near the more reverent parish, and prayers that if all else fail, I can find an apartment in South West Calgary and attend the FSSP Parish there.

Prayers, friend. I was listening to Father Mitch Pacwa on EWTN radio the other night, and it seems that EWTN is almost trying to ready faithful Catholics to stand firm in the face of something terrible around the bend.

We must remember that no man's sin or error can alter Truth. If Pope Francis has or does blaspheme, he cuts himself off from the Church. It is on us to look to Peter if not in the man in the seat of Peter, in the Apostle, and be faithful in what we know to do.

"Pray, hope, and don't worry" (P. Pio)
This is not the forum for discussion (go to One Bread, One Body - Catholic), but I want to encourage you to stay steadfast in prayer about this, and Christ will lead you where HE wants you....or strengthen you to persevere.
Things can change over time with the change of Priests and Bishops, and often things are not to our liking, but the SACRAMENTS remain the same, as does Christ's Presence in the Eucharist.
Praying that HE will be your strength, hope, light and your peace; may He bless you in His Merciful Love :crossrc:
