Happy Valentine's Day!

OK so we don't have someone special, SO what! We have our lives, and we have Jesus and we have each other! So lets spread the love and share something nice about someone else here.

I'll start....I think all of you here are very special (I know you hate that exit, but it's true of you anyway) and I am so glad to come here and try to make our lives a little better, lighter or just be able to vent with all of you even though we don't know each other IRL.

I don't have a special someone (besides my kids) but I am going to have a great day! It already started with my oldest son giving me my favorite candy last night and continued with his phone call today that he has finally signed up for the army! and he is very excited about it. He can continue to get his degree (something I wanted) and still be in the military reserves. His training will be split up so he won't miss school and when he's happy it makes me happy.

Tonight I might go shopping and buy myself something to wear for our family portrait in 2 weeks and then go home and watch a movie and have popcorn and whatever else I want to do. Yippeeeee

So again HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Oh and BTW did you know Valentine was a martyr?

As I was leaving work today,I checked my emails on my cell phone. Not one lady,that I know had wished me a Happy Valentine's Day.
Then I received a text from a lady wishing me a Happy Valentine's Day.
That made my day!

It was from a lady that I met online. I will refer to her as C.E.
We went out to lunch a few times. I googled her.She is a singer,the leader of a band,and she is an attorney.
One day,I was to supposed to meet her at a resurant,for lunch,on a Monday at 11:00 am. I get to the resturant at 10:50am. I saw a man waiting outside with a bunch of flowers. I said to him,"Nice flowers!" I noticed that there was a card attached to the flowers that read,"To C..."
I said to myself,"No,it can't be!" I told him,"That is ironic. I am supposed to meet a C here,also. Is the C,that you are supposed to meet here,is by any chance a singer,and an attorney?" He said,"Yes!"

A few minutes later,C.E. calls me on my cell.She tells me that she is running late. I told her not to worry. I did not tell her that she made a date.with two men,on the same day,at the same resturant,and at the same time. I just wanted to see the look on her face.

When she arrived at the resturant,the look on her face was priceless. This was hilarious! It was like something right out of a Sienfield episode.

Well,she spent an hour with me.I left and she then had lunch with the other man.

When I first had lunch with C.E.,I paid for the lunch,no problem. But at subsequent lunches,everytime the check appeared;she would say,"I have to go to the ladie's room!"
Therefore,I would wind up paying the bill everytime. After the third time,I began to wonder. She is an attorney.She can afford lunch. I googled "complaints against attorney C.E." I found out that there were two complaints against her. The worse thing that I found out was that she had also been...........disbarred.

Wow!, I really know how to pick 'em,don't I?

Well, we have all had some crazy things happen trying to find and express love.

There was a commentary on the local fox channel yesterday, basically said, get love right 364 day and then mess up on what you get her for Valentines day and there wouldn't be any love for the next year. It was pretty funny, but has that fear that I got to figure out what the right gift is for this year or I've messed up big time.
