OneThatGotAway:
I believe in responding to your comments with Scriptures:
However, the keeping of the Passover was not nail to the cross. I still keep a rememberance of the Passover in a Jewish Seder; I am unable to keep all of the requirements because we do not have the Holy Temple.
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross; Col 2:14
"It [is] a night to be much observed unto YAHWEH for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this [is] that night of YAHWEH's to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations. Exodus 12:42
This Scripture is correct it is a night to be observed. But it did not say passover or supper but the night which is at evening the beginning of the Feast of Unleavened Bread!
The same length of time is commanded for not eating fat or blood.
This incorrect because this whole chapter was referring to the peace offering and not the passover supper.
And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto YAHWEH; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards [It shall be] a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood. Leviticus 3: 3, 17
Not only did YAHWEH commanded Israel not eat the blood of animal but all of mankind!
The one thing you must not eat is meat with blood still in it; I forbid this because the life is in the blood. Gen 9:4
And the last time I've checked: The generations of Yishrael have not expired.
You are correct is mean throughout the ages, but you will not see it connected to the passover because it was a supper and it was replace on the same Feast day by Yashua supper at the same exact time. We are take it just before midnight but not with bitter herbs instead first the washing of our feet. This is a miniature baptismal once every year. We renew our covenant as Yashua our Passover Lamb by symbolizing His body with the bread (meat) and His blood the wine (drink) that we eat. Both suppers starts the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Sin is the leaven in our lives that must be removed and one sin (leaven) in our lives will build up more sin (leaven) that will destroy the body which is our lives.
And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a Feast to YAHWEH throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a Feast by an ordinance for ever. Ex 12:14
Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover. And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. For YAHWEH will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, YAHWEH will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons* for ever. Ex 12:21-24 *Notice the word generation is not used here!
These are the Feasts of YAHWEH, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is YAHWEH'S passover. And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread unto the YAHWEH: seven days ye must eat Unleavened Bread. Lev 23:4-6
And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the passover of YAHWEH. Num 28:16
Now the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Yashua, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover? And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples. And as they were eating, Yashua took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom. Mat 26:17, 18, 26-29
Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Yashua the Messiah our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the Feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 1Co 5:7, 8
And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. Act 13:39
But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.
And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago Elohim made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. And Elohim, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Spirit, even as he did unto us; Now therefore why tempt ye Elohim, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? Act 15:5, 6-10
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Heb 10:1-4
And the Festival of Unleavened Bread drew near, which is called* Passover. Luke 22:1
I was then given a stick that looked like a measuring-rod, and was told, "Go and measure the temple of Elohim and the altar, and count those who are worshiping in the temple. Rev 11:1
I am unable to keep all of the requirements because we do not have the Holy Temple.
You show me in the Bible that you are require to keep the ordinances or Laws of Moses which are rituals thing you do on a day and not a day? When the Ark of the Covenant was moved which contained the Law of Elohim under the Mercy Seat and the Law of Moses which was placed on the side, has been hidden for centuries. Yashua came and represented His Father universal law. It is sad when people think that the Jews were the only ones require to keep the Law of Elohim. The Law of Elohim is for the Universe including the angels. (Psa 103:20) The Temple of Elohim is in Heaven and it will come down when the New Jerusalem will come to the new Heaven and Earth. Yashua stated that the Earthly Temple would be destroyed and when Yashua died it had no more purpose. It was only symbolically to represent the Heavenly Sacturary or Temple of Elohim.
*Show me anywhere in the Bible where YAHWEH call the passover supper a Feast Day! How can you eat or kill a day?????
