Happy Father's Day to my heavenly Dad. You are the best Dad in the whole wide world! No other compares to you! And it isn't just because you are absolutely perfect and so no human dad will ever measure up to you, but it is because you are so loving and kind, and because you are so merciful and forgiving, and it is also because you are just and righteous and you discipline us in love when we need it, too. And you speak words of correction to us as well as words of comfort and encouragement, for we need both.
Thank you for delivering me out of my life of sin and thank you for calling me to be one of your children and to a life of service to you. I am so blessed to have you as my Father. And for those of you who may be reading this who did not have a dad, or who did not have a dad who loved you, and/or who had a dad who abused you, please know that God is absolutely the best Dad ever, so let him be your Dad today. Turn away from your sins and trust him with your life and follow him now in his ways and in his truth. God bless you!
