Hanson, anyone?

Well I'm a big fan of 80's hair metal and the like but I'm also a big fan of the indie-rock band Hanson! They seem to be catching the media's attention again recently and gaining some new fans etc.
I just think they're excellent musicians who write good heart-felt songs! Man, and it's good to have some good wholesome, clean music to listen to! They're Christian guys too
Anyone else like their stuff?

Hair metal and Hanson? That's a rather unusual combination.

I didn't particularly like Hanson when they first came out, but they definitely had talent considering their age, so maybe I should check out their new stuff.

Yeah! I'm into bands like Stryper, Cinderella, Poison, PBF, Leppard, etc. But yeah.. I forgot all about Hanson until I saw them on TV again last year.. I barely recognised them! And yeah.. I recommend you hear them out again, they've very much musically mature. They're independant now, too.

Yeah!! Their official site is nice and up to date - hanson.net (it might surprise you!)-that doesn't prove much about their Christianity on their site, but in Hanson fan circles it seems a pretty well established fact! And within each album inlay, they always give God a great mention, the latest album being the best in my opinion!

I used to be in love with them in middle school. I hit high school and got into alternative, metal, and gothic rock. This past May I went with a friend to a free concert a local radio station held that Hanson was playing at. I decided to get their new album, and as I was lying in bed listening to them a few nights ago, I was thinking about how awesome their music still is, and that they haven't lost their appeal at all (well, aside from the whole "I want to marry Zac" thing )

So, in a word: YES!

On a side note, I liked MMm Bop. I was the only one at our middle school dance to not run out of the gym when the song was on. literally. it was fun. hehe
