Hanging by a thread

I am still unable to drive because of my broken foot...not able to make my meetings since Saturday's, and have not been to my treatment group since two weeks ago. I am concerned about this, because I feel I am in prime mode for a relapse, and I am extra vulnerable for a lot of reasons on top of those already mentioned.

I am praying each day for God to keep me sober, and help me stay sane. This broken foot has me frustrated and scared.

Hi Trish!

You have done so well, it must be frustrating. While looking around on the web I came across this site with all kinds of great online meetings, 24/7 with many of them. Although we are not there in the flesh, at times like yours these meetings help a lot. You need to sign up with a user name to get in.
If you decide to go to one, let me know I will try to go with you.

Chat meetings? Why didn't anyone ever tell me that? I might just jump in there with you too! (but not saturday mornings, that's my only day to sleep in).

Thanks for the info about a chat meeting. I will check it out on Thursday. Tonight, I was able to get a ride to a support group for my gastric bypass surgery, and I have needed that as much as a meeting. These meetings are only once a month, and I have failed miserably with my eating since my alcohol relapse 18 months ago.
