It is a lovely day here, Spring is definitely on the way, it is so sunny and the temp is perfect, great for taking a walk, which I plan on doing later.

Not too great, James. My ROCD is acting up big time as well. I am now even starting to doubt the existence of God, I know there is, but my mind keeps poking me with thoughts of doubt. It seems when I am depressed and tired, these thoughts get worse.

I watched some of it, but to be honest, most of it went over my head, I really did not understand it.That made me feel worse then.
I know how you feel. ROCD is such a terrible terrible condition I mean OCD is bad itself but when your religious and trying to please God and walk with Him the right way it becomes more and more difficult because now you have these doubts in your head and feelings in your heart that you don't want. And your scared because it might just be your real feelings and not the OCD which is my fear right now and that compounds the problem.
I never knew I had OCD, but it seems I might, I was not diagnosed however, just going by symptoms, and I definitely think I have ROCD. Never had any of this until both parents died and my best friend as well, now I am a mess. You are right, I am scared silly that these are real feelings and not just OCD.
I wish there was more I can do for you as myself have been dealing with issues so we are in the same doubt boat. The only thing I can suggest is watch that link if you haven't,get some counseling(religious,psychiatric or both)and see if you can get on some OCD meds. Lexapro helped with my ROCD back in 2007 or 2008 so it's a good med for ROCD and anxiety.
There are no counsellors near here, and sadly the folk in this little village do not understand me too well, I do not feel comfortable talking with them. I have told Steve some, but he does not get it either. I have heard of Lexapro, I will have to remember that, I do not know if it goes by that name over here in New Zealand or not.
I'm always here though if you ever want to talk. Therapy comes when talking to someone especially one that is going through the same thing.
You are very fortunate to still have your mother. Both of my beloved parents are dead. If mom was still alive, she would be helping me lots and I doubt if I would even be going through all this. As I said, before I lost them both, I was fine. Now, since I have gotten married and moved overseas, I am a mess and seem to be getting worse, it is totally scaring me big time.And just keep praying to God,ask Him to help you and guide you through this ordeal. Even if you have doubts my mother told me just keep praying,read the Bible and do whatever it takes to keep your walk on the straight path even when you have these feelings and doubts. And count on his bountiful Grace that He gives us despite what we're going through.
