anyone here play halo for xbox? its seriously the funnest game ive ever played.
and sad to say, ive been addicted to it for about 2 years

but the good newz is that its not pulling me away from god. i can actually witness to the other gamerz.good stuff

I have Halo, but I haven't played it in almost a year, I play other games. But it is one of the best games I have ever played. My favorite thing to do on this game is link several systems together and have a bunch of friends just go at it for hours.

I played Halo on a friends X-Box. I think its an ok game, but not up to the hype I have heard. It seems to be heavily-based on graphics, and not on gameplay. I enjoy a good shooter game, but I enjoy them more if there is some puzzles to solve too. Well, thats my take on Halo. Maybe Halo 2 will be better, but so far it doesn't look like it will have many puzzles or stuff.

Halo 2 probably won't even come out for the xbox, most likely it will come out on the the next gen system.

we (about 8 of us) get together at our church on a regular base and set up 2 xbox's together.. .that is *GREAT* fun... a super good time! yeah, its a fun, fast paced shoot game, that makes *trash talk* real easy

That sounds like fun, I will have to try it sometime. As for Halo 2, the next gen system won't be out for a while. The earliest date calls for a release date sometime in 2006. Although, it will probably be later around 2007 or even 2008.

Halo 2 will be out long before the next gen system. There are already in game demos floating around of actual gameplay. Looks nuts.

I used to say that about Halo too, but now my roommate has it and I'm playing the single player(I'm almost done!), and the guys on my floor play big games, and it's seriously the best FPS I've ever played(well, one of the best... it's hard to get past the original Quake).

Actually, Halo 2 is slated to release sometime in spring of next year, but judging from the demo I saw, it will probably be later.

Halo is one of those works of art. You would really have to not like FPS, to not like Halo.
The graphics, the sound track, and controls.

Quake was addicting too. Everytime I get a FPS game that is supposed to have a really good first person. The first thing I check, is wether or not the difficulty levels have to do with the amount of monsters on each map.
In Quake the monsters weren't harder or faster when you up'd the difficulty. There were just that many more of them to shot. Think of it like the movie Alien, and then Aliens.

wow, i never realized halo had bean out for that long.....o well, but i am a HUGE halo fan, i just wish it wouldnt be so bad, its got lots of curisng and junk. I realy hope im wrong but i think halo 2's gonna have nutity in it, but ive done lots of reaserch (and played it way to much) on halo and have become a great fan. im just glad im not starting any bad habbits from it

wow... from september of 2003 until february of 2005, this was empty... but... it's back? uuhh, nice.

I wouldn't say so. Yes, killing is bad... but you come back after a couple seconds, so you didn't really die. Therefore the other guy didn't really "kill" you. So, it's all good.

Halo's a good game but there are much much better ones out there imo.

Personally, I only like halo multiplayer, and even that I enjoy much more for the companionship and fun with my friends than the killing. I love the situations where your friend will be sitting their and you snipe them, and then they spend the next five minutes trying to kill you kamikazee style, because it's always so funny. Alone, it just isn't as much fun for me.
