Halloween is a can of worms for many Believers, but the truth is that it was a Northern European pagan holiday usurped by us Christians and made into three of the most holy days of the year, thus Halloween, All Hallows Day, All Souls Day--all three finally solidified in Year 844.
Halloween is often used as an excuse to party, but so is Christmas, Thanksgiving (for most North Americans), and other holy days (holidays). Halloween has also been stolen by witches and other sad souls, but this does not make it into "Devil's Night" or anything of the sort. Halloween and the two days following are a hallowed Christian time of prayer and supplication, and a time to celebrate childhood and mystery.

*There will be no arguments tolerated here about this Christian holiday. If you disagree, that is of course fine, but be gentle and Christlike and give your reasons--but be prepared for contradiction, and be civil. Otherwise, you will be reported and ignored.*
