I almost made a Halloween thread last night I was going to post my Halloween Dance Party Playlist.
I lurve Halloween. The best candy is Reeses Pumpkins. Those are like fried gold. I spend all of October going to corn mazes and haunted houses. Also, the best shows come on during Halloween like "In Search of" and all the scary movies and documentaries.
I love Halloween

I used to hate Halloween but as I've gotten older it doesn't really bother me. In fact, I even dressed up last year and might do it again this year. I'm not a big candy eater but it's kind of fun to go to church events and hang out with friends on Halloween.

I primarily see Halloween as a kind of "imagination day" or "costume day", along a harvest festival and celebration of the colors of fall. As far as the spooky stuff goes... I suppose it's a way for people to face fear in a lighthearted way. Seriously, you're not going to be attacked by a ghost or a werewolf while walking through a cemetery at midnight on Halloween or any other day of the year. On the other hand, there's an actual risk that you might be killed by a drunk driver on some random day. Let people ponder things like life and death when they're relatively safe, partying with friends, and dressing up as whatever they can dream of. It's more fun that way. Besides, some "spooky" things like bats and black cats and mysterious old houses are kind of cool.

I couldn't have said it better myself! That's exactly what I would've posted.
