I've been learning so much about God lately. I've learned how to be content no matter what. My favorite verse is John 16:33.

I printed it out and thumb tacked right by my door to remind me everyday

I'm 18 years old and I go to a secular college, and even taking a philosophy class . I've been able to keep my faith stable. God is always there for me I realised. It's me that needs to realize that He never leaves. Which means I can always talk to him, always ask him, always receive from him.

Amen! That is wonderful! I used to put my favorite verses all over the house - on the refrigerator door, in the bathroom, on the mirrors - everywhere! It really helps to remind you of them.

Thank you for sharing this amazing testimony! You are so right about how wonderful God is. The true fruit of joy is being joyous no matter what! It seems that you are learning to display this fruit in your life...and only God can cultivate this fruit. Keep pressing in!

Hey! AMEN! God is so good. I know how hard it can be to keep the faith on a secular campus where everhything contrary to Christ is promoted and Christians are often slammed for needing "krutch" and not being open minded... can you tell I'm a college student too? What's really helped me is finding a group on campus that I can fellowship with and grow in my faith with. For me it's Campus Crusade for Christ, but there are different groups on every campus. Keep the faith kid, and continue to seek the Lord with all your heart! If you need any help finding a local ministry or just want to talk, feel free to message or email me. You are on that campus for a reason, God has placed you there for this season in your life for a purpose, seek Him and His mission for you there, He will not disappoint!
