halfwayout? anyone heard of them?

hey! i've heard of them. they're awesome! well, they were the last time i heard them anyway... i thought that they'd disappeared!

um... i'm not sure of where to get a sample of their music. they've only produced an EP. it's a pretty good CD too

oh, if you're in Brissy... call 96.5 (family FM - 3396 9999 - i think?) and request "Evergreen" by halfway out - that was the single that they released for radio.

their lyrics are AWESOME. really Christ centred which is a nice break from some of the other bands out there. their style is like the frugals but a bit heavier. if you like the frugals, the OC Supertoes, sounds like chicken, or even the Lads, then you are in with a chance of finding something you like in halfway out. (lol! i sound like i'm trying to sell something... )

though, like i said, i haven't heard them in ages! they had some trouble with getting settled with who was actually was going to be comitted to the band. they went through about 3 bassists, 2 saxes and they lost a trombone player too. i haven't really heard them at a proper gig since they got settled so i'm not sure what they're like now.

where's the gig? i'd love to go!
