Has anyone heard her? I found her totally by accident when I was looking for a song by Kate Bush. I just ordered her CD Pure. It's awesome! I can't wait to get it!

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hayley Westenra is good at what she does, but she doesn't really appeal to me. I know that she is good at what she does because there is so much hype about her amongst the media.

I like to think that I'm not easy to impress, but Hayley Westenra is one of the few voices that brings me to tears. Her pitch is perfect, and the tonality of her voice is second to none. God has truly blessed her greatly.
She's coming to the Detroit area in a few months, I'd like to see the show. Too bad it'll be at the Palace, the accoustics there are more suited to AC/DC (in other words, they stink).
