Appearance: Hajari is tall and muscular, with deep bronze skin that's blemished by scars from battle. He only has the use of one eye as the other was injured in battle beyond repair. He now keeps a leather patch over that eye, his other eye a dark hazel. He could be called handsome, but is most often described as simply "tough". His head is completely shaved, contrasting with the fact that his rather square jaw is seemingly in a constant state of five o'clock shadow.
Personality: Hajari has always been very sure of himself...and it shows. He is, perhaps, one of the greatest warriors the land of Rhytium has ever known and, consequently, can come across as exceedingly arrogant when telling of his victories. His smile and laugh come easily, especially when there's alcohol involved as he does tend to indulge himself from time to time in that particular vice. But he is not without qualities. He is a brilliant military strategist, and there is none more loyal than Hajari. He will fight to the death even if his troops have been conquered and he will put himself in danger to keep others from harm.
Background: Hajari's life began when he entered the military....or so he tells people. He doesn't speak much of his childhood or early teenage years, but what little information he does unveil points to a childhood as the son of a particularly abusive father; one he ran away from as soon as he was old enough to become a soldier. Hajari advanced in rank quickly, proving to be a highly skilled warrior, finally attaining the post of Commander of the Olumcai, the highest rank in Lord Arnau's army. Almost 7 years after attaining this rank, he met an ambitious woman who was now advancing in the military almost as fast as he had, Ianthe Black. The two became eachother's biggest rivals, even though they never fought eachother one-on-one. Instead, they proceeded to "out-do" eachother with their leadership prowess, allowing the victories of their troops to speak for them. Then, a little over 9 years ago, he sustained an injury to his left eye, leaving it blind. He left the military to recover and simply didn't return. He now makes his living as a blacksmith in the small town of Taberna, west of Floresco.
