I'm not sure if this forum also applies to hail...
I remember I was in a classroom during lunch at school one day. We were doing this story activity where one person says a sentence and another person says another sentence(according to his or her whim) to continue a story. Example:
Person A: Once upon a time there were three little pigs.
Person B: They were notorious telemarketers.
Person C: One day, one of the pigs called someone.
Person D: But the pig didn't know that he called the butcher...
And so on. Why did I spent 75 words (and four letters) explaining something that relates to English and not the weather?
Well, this is where it all comes together...
So it was my turn to say a sentence. And I sounded dramatic when I said this, "and the storm came." All of a sudden, there was this loud noise that sounded like barrage of pebbles hitting the roof. When it was over, we went outside and saw that there was a mini-hail storm. Everywhere there were these white pebble-size hail all over the place. And I could imagine the confusion the students experienced who were outside.
And what was interesting was... it's California here (close to Anaheim, CA...where Disneyland is located). Is it possible for hail to visit CA???
