Appearance: A slender yet muscular maiden, weighing a mere 106 lbs. for her 5' 7" stature. Háthien's features suggest her Noldorin lineage, resembling Nerdanel more so than those of her kin. She has light bronze locks, most uncommon among the Elves. Her azure blue eyes have a tendency to appear either grey or green, depending upon her mood and surroundings.
Raiment: Nearly always seen, when not off on one of her journeys, in a sea blue gown, with a pearl-inset silver girdle about her waist and a circlet fashioned the same way worn upon her auburn locks. When she is traveling, her apparel is simple but no less elegant. She wears a royal blue and ever-green hued traveling gown, with mahogany brown leather boots and a midnight blue cloak. She wears a deep sapphire pendant graced with a diamond star in its center, the emblem of her House.
Personality: As with all of her kindred, she is both wise and fore-seeing. Her heritage gives her an air of noblity and pride, as well as a fiery and passionate spirit. Háthien is witty and enjoys a good tale, as well as being an animated tale-teller herself. Spending most of her free time [when she has it] in the libraries of Rivendell, her knowledge of the First & Second Ages is extensive. Never able to resist a lively discussion, she is both known and loved among the scholars of Middle Earth.
History: She was raised by her mother's family in Imaldris, since her father had been taken captive by orcs before Háthien's birth. Both her mother's and father's families are nobles, once great lords among the Noldor. She never spoke with nor seen those of her father's kin, whom are said (by her mother) to be at the Grey Havens, although Háthien suspects they reside in Lothlórien. With her mother wedded to a mortal from Rohan, Háthien frequently returns to her birthplace, prefering the companionship of her own race to that of Men.
